Brookwood is zoned for the Wetumpka school system. Currently, these schools include Wetumpka Elementary School (K–3), Wetumpka Middle School (4-6), Wetumpka Junior High School (7-8), and Wetumpka High School (9-12).

Brookwood is also located adjacent to the new Redland School currently under construction.  Upon opening, Brookwood will be zoned for Redland School for grades K through 6.

In addition to the public school offerings, Brookwood is in close proximity to many private schools in Montgomery and Wetumpka.
