2. Select a lot with the help of your builder. Lot sizes range from 1/2 acre to over 3 acres.

3. Select a home plan with the help of your builder. We have plans that have been previously built, plans that can be modified, or we can help you work with an architect/draftsman to develop your own plan.

4. When you have selected or developed your plan, your builder will price the house based on the plans and the fixtures and finishes you request.

5. If you are satisfied with the price to build, you and your builder will review the proposal with your respective real estate agents. The proposal is a detailed document identifying materials your builder will use to construct your home and the allowances for interior finishes, appliances, flooring, lighting, landscaping, etc. Your builder will provide you with a list of vendors that he normally uses for the finishes. Any changes to the proposal are made at this time and initialed by you and your builder.

6. Once the Contract to build is signed and you pay the 5% down payment, the builder will begin construction.
